Whakapono Parnell Pools TRIP - 2019 done and dusted...

Our 2019 year has come to an end... We had a lot of rain, a lot of prayers put out there to stop the rain... It did when we were at the pools...

A great day out with our students and what a day we had...

A huge thanks to Amena's parents and Shon cousin who helped yesterday.

A few shots of our day...

Y6 Rowandale Graduation 2019

It's official... End of year is NEAR, no wait it is HERE...

96 Y6 students we say 'Ka Kite' to this year, off to Manurewa Intermediate, Waimahia, Greenmeadows or any of our other schools which have Y7/8 in their kura... Many of ours are off to MI and they are nervous but also sad to leave us here at Rowandale.

In W22 we had 10 graduate. 9 of those 10 arrived for graduation assembly, dinner and disco yesterday and then again last night... I am amazed at my students everyday, I am grateful for having this time with them no matter how long or short of a time we had together, know that I will always hold a piece of you with me. The saying goes - 'It takes a village to grow our children' we most certainly have done that whanau - thank you for all your hard work with homework, reminders, phone calls and texts through the year.

Last Buddy time with Aroha 3 and 4 - SWIMMING TIME

I love the laughter of children while swimming - on a sunny afternoon, our students in the pool lapping up the water, our buddies and some chill time as we near a busy 2019.

We have had a great year with our buddy class, we thank A3 and A4 for joining us today, we really enjoyed spending time with you today...

Check us OUT...

 And they are in...
 Testing the waters...
 I'm OK he reckons...
 Thanks for not wetting me...
 You're splashing me...
 I can't see anything...
We needed to remember our A3 and A4 kids were with us...

Rowandale Sports Day - A fantastic day indeed

We had zumba with Mrs Kasi- Sagote, ropes, small balls, large balls, water skills, gutter-board and soccer goals... It was amazing...

Our theme was to dress as a sports champion or team - we had rugby, league, netball, basketball and soccer idols in there as well.

Here are a few photo's to show our day...

Amazing work students, parents and our wonderful teachers... A huge thanks also to Mrs Aliifaalogo and her sports team for great organisation and planning of a successful day - THANK YOU...
